Fundraising
We strive to provide the fullest possible life for those who stay with us. Our main operating costs are met through government funding, but the personalised, enriched experience we hope to offer is only possible through the funding we receive from voluntary donations and fundraising. We are a registered charity (no. 307027) and registered with the Fundraising Regulator.
Current Appeal
Our latest fundraising appeal is for the College 3 students' Biography Retreat. We need to raise £5,000 towards this five-day retreat during the summer term. This special time away provides an opportunity to reflect on life's achievements and challenges. It is a time for self-discovery and growth as students look back on their experiences and think about what is to come. We will also be celebrating the end of their third year at The Mount.
One of our key fundraising activities for this appeal will be a sponsored walk in May at Bewl Water when the students will walk alongside their co-workers and tutors. They will aim to walk up to six miles around part of the reservoir. Below is a link to their fundraising page with more information about the appeal:

We would be very grateful for your support. Every donation, whatever the amount, will help provide them with an unforgettable opportunity for reflection, connection and personal growth. Messages left with the donations will be shared with the walkers on the day to keep them motivated during the walk.
