Senior Care Worker College and Co housing (Learning Disability)  ‘Live In’ Role 

The Mount Camphill Community provides education and supported living for young people (16-25) and adults with a range of learning disabilities working actively with the Camphill Community impulse and anthroposophy.

• To assist in providing a caring, homely setting for young people with learning disabilities 

• To work as a senior care worker supporting young people with learning disabilities as part of the residential living setting and the college sessions engaging socially, culturally and professionally within this group of diverse individuals 

• To supervise and guide a team of care/co workers within the residential living setting to be able to offer a high standard of care and support to students with learning disabilities. 

• To work to social care standards in accordance with national law, policies and procedures and The Mount code of practice 

• Take part in training and development activities to achieve the above objectives  


We are looking for enthusiastic and committed people who would like to join one of our lively households to life-share with co-housers and co-workers, look after the wellbeing and development of our co-housers and take part in a shared cultural and spiritual life within the community.

Starting July/ August 2022 for a single person or family who would like to support this project as a 

Homemaker / House Co-ordinator

You will have regular hours for work and personal times/holidays whilst still enjoying the benefits of a shared cultural and spiritual life and community building.
Preferred qualification and experience requirements are level 3 diploma in Health and Social Care; and have Camphill experience/ interest in the anthroposophical approach.



We can only entertain applications from fully Covid vaccinated individuals or those who have a medical exemption.

Applicants will be required to undergo appropriate Disclosure & Barring Service checks.
